This week we are having on listener, Shannon Perkins. She
shares her two birth stories with us. They did not go quite
as planned but Shannon had empowering experiences.
She is a mom of two (Madelyn - 3 and Benjamin - 1), senior
communications manager for a medical software company, and
freelance writer. She resides in a coastal town in southeastern
Massachusetts with her husband and children. When she's not mom'ing
or writing, you can find her exercising, organizing, reading, or
indulging in her favorite guilty pleasure — reality TV.
